He brings 20 years of hands-on experience advising clients across diverse sectors, including real estate, energy, finance, probate, matrimonial and land acquisition, regulatory and compliance Advisory, legal due diligence and risk management
Driven by a vision to build a world-class legal institution rooted in deep legal knowledge, strategic thinking, and practical solutions, Mr Shangotola established O.D.Shangotola & Co. to bridge the gap between traditional legal practice and modern client expectations.
Throughout his career, Mr Shangotola has been recognized for a meticulous approach to legal problem-solving, an unwavering commitment to clients’ interests, and an ability to simplify complex legal issues by representing clients at various levels of courts in Nigeria and has advised on various transactions of economic importance.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr Shangotola is a thoughtful leader and passionate advocate for legal innovation, mentorship, and ethical leadership in the legal profession. He is the current president of the Abeokuta Bar Cooperative society where he is leading a team that is focused on economic empowerment of members.
Mr Shangotola holds a law degree from University of Ibadan and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2006 and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
